Shirley Sotir

Shirley is a Maine native born in Bangor and raised in the Saco area. She achieved a Bachelor of Science in Education and studied at the Heartwood College of Art in Kennebunk, Maine.
She has always had an interest in the arts and began painting after raising a family. Shirley has had no formal training except for taking classes and workshops with well-known artists. Oils were her medium of choice when she started painting. Her chosen medium now is in pastels which has become her passion.
